Your Role as a Volunteer:

As a volunteer at UMFC, you will assist participants and their carers in achieving their goals through engaging in social and recreational activities while fostering a safe and inclusive environment. Open communication with CADS staff will help facilitate coordinated support, ensuring everyone feels valued and respected. To excel in this role, you should be genuinely committed to supporting caregivers and children with disabilities, possess strong communication skills for engaging diverse groups, and have a solid understanding of safety principles and risk management. Additionally, excellent organisational skills are essential for managing client data and documenting outcomes effectively.
