The Role

As our next Team Leader, you will oversee the Financial Counselling program, ensuring effective operations and adherence to funding requirements, manage administrative and supervisory functions to boost staff morale and professional growth and engage in service planning and development as a key member of the Family Relationship Services leadership team.

Your Experience

To be eligible for this role a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Social Sciences, or equivalent is required; a Financial Counselling qualification will be advantageous.

Your proficiency in service delivery, staff management and program development in the community sector is paramount, coupled with strong leadership skills with a focus on professional development and team cohesion, high emotional intelligence and excellent written and verbal communication skills will be highly desirable.

Your hands-on experience with project and community development, combined with your work with clients facing financial hardship and complex issues like family violence, mental health and substance misuse is a significant asset.
